JSC  "Latvijas  Gaze"  shareholders  general meeting will take place at

11AM  on  the  April 15,1999 at Kr.Barona str.107, Riga (Central Sports

Center "Daugava").

Registration  of  shareholders  will  take  place  at  the venue of the

meeting from

9AM to 11 AM. Shareholders can announce blockage of their shares to the

securities  account  holder  no later than by the end of working day on

the April

1.  JSC  "Latvijas Gaze" shareholders can get acquainted with the draft

of resolutions from the April 1 to 14, every working day from 11AM to 4

PM  at Latvian Central Depository, at Doma laukums 6, Riga (appointment

made on the previous day by telephone 7 229821 is necessary), or on the

day  of  the  meeting  at  the  place  of registration in Sports Center

"Daugava".
