During  its  meeting,  held  today,  February  25,  the  council of JSC

"Hansapank" resolved to elect the following new members of the Board of

JSC  "Hansapank",  Mr  Mart Tooming, the Chairman of the Board of Hansa

Capital  and  Mr  Raul  Parusk,  the  Director  of  the  Retail Banking

Division.

The Council also determined the agenda of the Annual General Meeting of

Shareholders  of  JSC  "Hansapank"  to  be  held  on  April 14, 1999 as

follows:

1. Annual Report of the Financial Year 1998;

2. Amendments to the Articles of Association;

3. Election and Resignation of the Members of the Council;

4. Election of the Auditor.
