On July 9 JSC 'Olaines ķīmiski - farmaceitiskā rūpnīca" (OlainFarm) has

repurchased  all its short-term promissory notes with clearance date on

July 22

and  nominal  value  of  1,600,000  USD  (ISIN  0000600138). All issued

promissory notes will be canceled.

Besides, on July 10,1998 JSC OlainFarm has fully paid for Lithuania JSC

"Endokrininiai  Preparatai"  shares and has received full voting rights

in the general meeting of shareholders.
