SJSC LATVIJAS HIPOTĒKU UN ZEMES BANKA INFORMATION ON ADDITIONAL MORTGAGE BONDS



State Joint Stock Company Mortgage and Land Bank of Latvia (Latvijas Hipotēku 

un zemes banka; hereinafter – Mortgage bank) hereby notifies of the decision 

adopted by the meeting of shareholders of Mortgage bank held on 11 October 2004 

(minutes of meeting NR 6) to amend the decision of the meeting of shareholders 

of 4 February 2004 earlier authorising the initial public offering of mortgage 

bond securities in the amount of USD 20,000,000.00 (twenty million US dollars).



In the meeting of shareholders of 11 October 2004 (minutes of meeting NR ___) 

decided to give the following wording to the decision On Issue of Mortgage Bond 

Securities: Issue, make the public offering of and make mortgage bond securities 

of the amount of USD 40,000,000.00 (forty million US dollars) a part of the 

controlled security market on the following conditions:

- it is possible to break down the total amount of mortgage bond securities for 

issue into several mortgage bond security batches;

- the term of redemption for each of the mortgage bond security batches does not 

exceed 10 years.
