JSC Strenču MRS expects to attain LVL 3 million net sales in 2004



Company performance in 9 months of 2004 has been a successful one. The sales of round timber 

are LVL 2,387 thousand, and the woodcutting services were LVL 80.5 thousand, and forestry 

services LVL 63.1 thousand. Company net sales in the 9 months of 2004 are LVL 2.54 million, 

which is 10.6% over the 2003 figure.

The company expects to have LVL 3 million net sales in 2004. Though the profit from operations 

has increased if compared to the previous years, the company expects to have LVL 150 thousand 

in 2004 – the loss is originating from revaluation of fixed assets. These losses were already 

budgeted for 2004 and approved by the general meeting of shareholders.
