The Board of LatRosTrans - Ventspils Nafta’s daughter company Elected



Today, on December 10, the Participants’ Meeting of Ventspils Nafta’s 

daughter company LatRosTrans has elected the LatRosTrans’ Board that includes 

one person. The post of the Board member of LatRosTrans will be held now by 

already the former representative of the Latvian party in the Council of 

LatRosTrans i.e. Sergey Aleksandov. At the same time the Participants’ Meeting 

has also approved Sergey Aleksandrov’s application of to leave the post of the 

Council’s member of LatRosTrans. There have been no other changes within the 

Council of LatRosTrans. 



Sergey Aleksandrov has been working in the companies that are connected with the 

transit business since 1969. He has held various posts at Ventspils Nafta, JSC as 

well as at Venbunkers being the other transhipment terminal in Ventspils where 

within the last few years he had been director general, then vice-president in 

the management of the terminal, and he has also exercised the functions of the 

president.



Sergey Aleksandov has Engineer Degree from the I.Goubkin PetroChemical-and-Gas-

Industry Institute in Moscow. He speaks Latvian, Russian, English and German.
