JSC “Tosmares kuģubūvētava” expects to end the year with LVL 4.2 million sales	and LVL 300 

thousand profit. The increase of sales would be 23.5% over the previous year. The profit 

performance would be a visible improvement: the company worked at a loss of LVL 341.4 thousand 

in 2003. The company performance has improved in 2004 owing to the increased vessel repair 

volumes. Currently the company has opened negotiations with a UK company regarding building a 

ferry; the contract has not been signed yet.
