Tallinn Stock Exchange observes three minutes of silence



Following the recommendation made by the Council of the European Union, 

the OMX Exchanges will observe three minutes of silence tomorrow January 5, 

2005 as a mark of respect to the commemoration of the victims of the 

Tsunami disaster.



The trading systems will not be closed down. However, Stockholm Stock 

Exchange, Helsinki Stock Exchange, Tallinn Stock Exchange, Riga Stock 

Exchange and Vilnius Stock Exchange request that their members also observe 

three minutes of silence and refrain from all trading activities between 

12.00 and 12.03 local time.
