COURT RULING RECEIVED BY JSC LATVIJAS KUĢNIECĪBA





JSC Latvijas kuģniecība (LASCO) hereby informs that today, 

15 February 2005 the Company received copy of Riga Central 

District Court Ruling in Civil Matter (copy C27042605), 

ruling that: 



till court hearing on merits JSC Ventspils nafta and Deutsche 

Bank Trust Company Americas shall be prohibited to use either 

their voting rights pertaining to their ownership shares of 

JSC Latvijas kuģniecība, or their indirect voting rights, 

including voting rights at JSC Latvijas kuģniecība General 

Meetings of shareholders, as well as to dispose of those 

shares or to encumber them with rights in things (in rem);



it shall be prohibited to register changes in the composition 

of JSC Latvijas kuģniecība Supervisory Council and Board of 

Directors with the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of 

Latvia as per resolution of JSC Latvijas kuģniecība Extraordinary 

General Meeting of shareholders of 11 February 2005, or to register 

any other decisions adopted by the Council elected by 

JSC Latvijas kuģniecība EGM of shareholders of 11 February 2005, 

as well as it shall be prohibited to register any resolutions 

passed by the Board of Directors elected by the Council elected 

by JSC Latvijas kuģniecība EGM of shareholders of 11 February 2005.
