Parex Banka became a member of Tallinn SE and Estonian CSD account operator



On 22.03.2005 the management board of Tallinn Stock Exchange approved the 

membership application of JC Parex Banka. On the same day the board of 

Estonian CSD approved the application of JC Parex Banka for account operator 

status in ECSD.



Parex Banka is the largest bank in Latvia by assets, deposits and capital 

and reserves. The bank offers universal banking services including deposit 

services, card services, lending, leasing, insurance, asset management and 

securities brokerage. Parex Banka operates in the Baltics and is represented 

throughout the major CIS countries and also in Frankfurt, London, Tokyo, 

and Stockholm. Parex is well recognized in the international community and 

has received a number of awards for Latvia including “Best Bank” in 2003 

and “Best Debt House” in 2004 from Euromoney magazine’s “Awards for 

Excellence”, “Bank of the Year” from the Banker magazine in 2004, and 

“Best Foreign Exchange Bank” in 2005 and “Best Bank” from Global Finance 

Magazine in 2003.



Parex Banka is already a member and account operator in Riga and Vilnius.



Parex Banka will start trading under trading code PRX. 



Tallinn Stock Exchange now has 17 members, including nine remote members. 

Estonian CSD has 10 account operators, including two from abroad.
