APPOINTMENT OF A NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD



On 8 September 2000, a sitting of the Supervisory Board of AB Mazeikiu Nafta

took place. It was decided to appoint Ronald A. Majors chairman of the Board of

AB Mazeikiu Nafta for the period of one year as the term of office of the

former chairman ended.
