NSEL PUTS CO-OPERATION WITH NOREX ON HOLD



The joint press release of the NOREX alliance, the NSEL,

and the Riga Stock Exchange as of 28 May 2001 notified that

the parties decided to formally put co-operation on hold.

NSEL and RSE are exploring other co-operation arrangements.

The relations between the parties continue to be one of

mutual trust and friendship.

The Management of the NSEL will focus on other feasible

strategic partnerships that would offer new opportunities

for our issuers, brokers, and investors.
