FLUCTUATION MARGINS WON'T BE APPLIED TO LIETUV. ENERGIJA AB



Following the decision of the Listing Department as of 24 July 2001, price

fluctuation limits will not be applied to securities of Lietuvos Energija AB

from 26 July 2001.

On 26 July 2001, at the Central Securities Depository of Lithuania the issue

No. 11768 will be reduced and the nominal value will be changed. After the

change, the issue No. 11768 will equal 1,807,077,180 shares at LTL 1 par, the

total nominal value of the issue will be LTL 1,807,077,180.
