APPROVAL OF THE 6 MONTH RESULTS



During its meeting on 20 August 2001, the Management Board of AB Mazeikiu

Nafta took the decision to approve the results of the first six months of

2001 from the materials submitted by the company’s administration and auditor.

According to the US GAAP standards, AB Mazeikiu Nafta incurred losses of

LTL 71 647 000 for the first six months of this year.
