ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT ACQUISITION OF A BLOCK OF AB MAZEIKIU NAFTA SHARES



According to the announcement of 1 July 2001 to the National Stock Exchange of

Lithuania about acquisition of a block of shares, Yukos Finance B. V. and

Williams International Company held 26.85% of the issuer’s votes each on 18 June

2002.
