PLACEMENT OF THE BANK’S SHARE ISSUE ENDED



Lietuvos Zemes Ukio Bankas AN informs that on 9 October 2002,

the placement of the issue of ordinary registered shares of

Lietuvos Zemes Ukio Bankas AB ended because on the first day

of the second stage all 92,099shares, which remained after

the first stage, were subscribed for.

During the first and the second stage of placement, 776,277

ordinary registered shares (or 100% of the share issue registered

with the Securities Commission of the Republic of Lithuania on

5 September 2002) were subscribed for, for the total value of LTL 73,746,315.
