PRELIMINARY RESULT FROM OPERATIONS AND AMOUNTS PAYABLE FOR 2003

Kauno Energija AB has reported an unaudited result from operations in 2003,

which is a profit of LTL 6,024,314; at the end of the accounting period

(31 12 2003) the ratio of the amounts payable and liabilities against the

authorised capital was 0.76.
