Performance results for 8 months of 2004

In August, the sales turnover of the store chain Apranga, a retail seller of
wearing apparel, in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia totalled LTL 13'025.8 thous.,
generating an increase of 58.35% as compared with the corresponding period of
2003.
The rise of the sales in August 2004 is in line with the ambitious plans of the
company for the expansion of Apranga network and enhancement of its sales.
Apranga expects to reach not lower growth rates of the sales in September -
December.
During eight months of 2004, Apranga has already opened nine new stores and is
planning to open four more by the end of the year.
At the end of August the first ZARA stores were opened in Tallinn and Riga and
an "Emporio Armani" store opened its door in Riga.
Presently Apranga JTC is operating 36 stores, including 28 in Lithuania, 7 in
Latvia and 1 in Estonia. The leading retail seller of clothing in Lithuania is
consistently developing the store networks of 5 different
types: ZARA, the family stores "Apranga" , the youth stores "Aprangos
galerija" and "Mango", the stores opened for business people "City" and the
exclusive stores "Hugo Boss", "MaxMara", "Emporio Armani" and "Mados linija".
In eight months of 2004, the sales of the Apranga network amounted to LTL71.9 m.
and exceeded the level of 2003 by 30.1% or LTL16.7 m. The shares of the joint
stock trading company Apranga are listed on Vilnius Stock Exchange. Apranga JTC
belongs to the concern "MG Baltic".
