Results of operation for the period of January-August 2004



During 8 months of the year, Grigiskes AB, the largest Lithuanian producer of

wood fibre board and sanitary and daily use paper products, sold goods and

provided services for LTL63.607 m, which by 29.4% exceeded the amount for the

corresponding period of 2003, when the sales of goods and services totalled

LTL49.152m. The company's eight-months profit increased by 28.3% and it

currently reached LTL5.3072m (a year ago it made up LTL4.138 m).

In August, the company earned a profit of LTL876.6 thous. As compared with

August of 2003, the company's profit augmented by a factor of 1.7 (it made up

LTL529 thous in August 2003).

The sales and services of the company in August rose by 23.9% if compared to the

corresponding period of 2003 and totalled LTL7.339 m. In August 2003, the sales

and services generated LTL 5.921 m.
