JSC “Preiļu siers” to launch a new cheese production line



On July 7 JSC "Preiļu siers" will open a new Cheddar cheese production line – as a part of 

the technological modernization and capacity increase plan, initiated in 2004. The new 

production line will allow to increase the quantities of dairy processing. The output target 

for 2005 is 8 thousand tons of cheese (by 35.2% more than in 2004); the target for 2006 is 12 

thousand tons. The company will use own proceeds as well as bank loans in order to implement 

the plan. The sales target for 2005 is LVL 18 million.
