JSC “Daugavpils Lokomotīvju Remonta Rūpnīca” results for the 1st half-year of 2005



During the first half year of 2005 JSC “Daugavpils Lokomotīvju Remonta Rūpnīca” 

had a turnover of 8 851,8 thousand LVL, and it is 72 % more than during the 

respective period in 2004. 

The average salary for the employees during this period was 157 LVL, in 

June – 164,4 LVL. In April the company introduced bonus system for the employees: 

according to the new system during April-June 75% of the employees received 

bonuses, since July – 93%. During the second quarter 37 808 LVL were paid for 

bonuses.

During the first half year of 2005 442 thousands LVL were invested in the 

development of the company. 

In January-June more than a half of orders were received from the Russian 

Federation, as well as Latvian, Lithuanian and Belarusian railway companies. 

The modernization of six diesel freight locomotives for Turkmenistan 

railway-company were completed in June and another four diesel locomotives 

will be repaired in September as part of this project.
