SIA Ventspils nafta termināls handled 0.7 million tonnes of petroleum products in July 2005



0.7 million tonnes of petroleum product’ deliveries by rail road were handled by 

SIA Ventspils nafta termināls – a daughter company of the joint stock company 

Ventspils nafta –  in July 2005; and this result is analogous to the total amount 

of cargoes handled by SIA Ventspils nafta termināls in July 2004. This July 

SIA Ventspils nafta termināls handled 0.4 million tonnes of motor gasoline of various 

grade (76, 80, 92, 95) as well as 0.3 million tonnes of gas oil having different 

sulphur content of 0.005% and 0.2%; and finally some heating oils.



This year, SIA Ventspils nafta termināls’ throughput results for both motor gasoline 

and gas oil have been continuing to reach their all-time high level, when compared 

with the throughput volumes for these products over previous years.



In total, within the period from January to July inclusively SIA Ventspils nafta 

termināls handled 5.2 million tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products, including 

2.5 million tonnes of  gas oil and 0.2 million tonnes of crude oil.
