JSC “Latvijas Gaze” information about unaudited financial report of the first half of 2005



Joint Stock Company "Latvijas Gaze" informs that the profit in the first 

half of 2005 reached 8,09 mio LVL that is by 2,75 % or 0, 217 mio LVL more 

than in the first half of 2004. In the first half of 2005 total income 

from natural gas sales and other services of basic operations reached 

70,86 mio LVL that is by 6,71 % or 4,46 mio LVL more than in the 

corresponding period of 2004. The volume of gas sold was 0,939 billion m3 

that is by 3,8 % more than in the first half of 2004. Financial indicators 

during the first half of 2005 were positively influenced by sales increase, 

which was fostered by increase in number of customers.
