Legal proceedings against a/s Latvijas kuģniecība terminated



Today, on September 8th, 2005, Riga City Central District court has ordered 

to terminate all legal proceedings that were brought in action by Edijs 

Kizenbahs against both a/s Ventspils nafta and a/s Latvijas kuģniecība. The 

plaintiff has withdrawn his claim today.



E.Kizenbahs’ claim against a/s Ventspils nafta and a/s Latvijas kuģniecība 

that was intended to revoke the changes made in the composition of both the 

Executive as well as Supervisory Boards of a/s Latvijas kuģniecība; to lay 

under the obligation of a/s Ventspils nafta to announce mandatory the 

repurchasing offer of a/s Latvijas kuģniecība shares as well as collect in 

favour of the plaintiff LVL 26.000,00 is considered as unreasonable and 

hence fully declined.
