COURT HEARING ON LASCO EX-EXECUTIVES REINSTATEMENT POSTPONED



JSC Latvijas kuģniecība (LASCO) hereby informs that today, 

15 September 2005 it was resolved by Riga Central District 

Court to postpone the scheduled hearing on the claims submitted 

by LASCO former executives Alvis Akmens and Aivars Enkuzens 

for their reinstatement in the office and compensation for 

the enforced truancy. 



The request for the postponement of the hearing was made by 

the above-mentioned claimants’ representative by reason of 

her being engaged in another legal proceeding.



Based the Court’s decision that the attendance of the claimants 

is required, as well as considering the ongoing negotiations 

between JSC Latvijas kuģniecība and both ex-executives, the 

hearing of the above-mentioned claims by Riga Central District 

Court was postponed till 22 November 2005.
