The result of activity for the nine months of 2005



The preliminary result of Lietuvos energija AB activity for the nine months of 

2005 – not audited profit before tax is LTLm11.6 (EURm3.4) (for the nine months 

of 2004 – LTLm77 (EURm22.3)).

The main reasons of profit reduction are a decrease of electricity export due to 

the work of only one unit of  Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant and an increase of 

depreciation expenses. The increase of depreciation is conditioned by results of 

revaluation of company’s tangible assets, which are reflected in the financial 

statements of Lietuvos energija AB.

EBITDA is LTLm130.7 (EURm37.9) (for the nine months of 2004 – LTLm129.5 (EURm37.5))
