Regarding the President and the Chairman of the Management Board



The president and the chairman of the management board of AB Bankas NORD/LB

Lietuva Thomas Stephan Buerkle will be  appointed as a general  manager  of

NORD/LB bank's branch in  New York (USA) following a promotion in Germany's

NORD/LB financial group. Thomas Stephan Buerkle will take the position from

January 1, 2006. Thomas Stephan Buerkle (born 1953) serves as the president and

the chairman of the management board of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva from September

2002. The decision regarding the new chairman of the management board and the

president of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva will be taken after the regular meeting

of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva council meeting scheduled on December 1, 2005.

According to the by-laws of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva the bank's council appoints

members of the  bank's management board and the management board elects the

chairman of the management board and appoints the president of the bank. AB

Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva will release information about the decisions of the

council and the management board of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva regarding the

change of the bank's leader as soon as they are made. Thomas Stephan Buerkle has

no shares of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva.
