AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva Stock Exchange Release 02.12.2005



Regarding the appointment of the CEO



Following the proposal of the Supervisory Council of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva

as of December 1, 2005, the Management Board of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva elected

the Bank's board member  Werner Schilli to be the chairman of the Board and

appointed him as the Bank's President from December 31, 2005. Reflecting the

announced changes of the shareholders' structure of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva,

Werner Schilli will serve as the chief executive officer of AB Bankas NORD/LB

Lietuva until the appointment of a new president and chairman of the Management

Board of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva.Werner Schilli (born 1954) is a member of AB

Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva Management Board and serves as an executive Vice-president

in charge of retail banking. Werner Schilli has no shares of AB Bankas NORD/LB

Lietuva.

The Supervisory Council of AB Bankas NORD/LB Lietuva decided to recall the

current Bank's President and the Chairman of the Management Board Thomas S.

Buerkle from the board from December 30, 2005 following his appointment as a

general manager of Germany's bank Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale branch in

New York  from January 1, 2006.
