COMMENTARY TO THE FINANCIAL RESULTS 08/99

 

The consolidated 8 months' 1999 net sales of Tallinna Külmhoone AS 

amounted to 306.2 million EEK. Compared to the same period last year 

(8 months' 1998 net sales 225.3 million EEK), the company's net sales 

increased by 35.9% or 80.9 million EEK. 

 

Total amount of ice-cream sold in 8 months 1999 was 2763.9 tons. Compared

to the respective result of 1998 (2373.6 tons), sales volume increased 

by 16.4% or 390.3 tons. 

 

In 8 months, 282.7 tons (10.2% of total ice-cream realization) of ice-cream 

was exported; the respective last year's figure was 302.6 tons.

 

The 8 months gross profit of Tallinna Külmhoone AS totaled 16.2 million EEK; 

the respective figure last year was 14.9 million EEK.
