DISPOSAL OF SHAREHOLDING IN ASSOCIATED COMPANY

 

The contract concluded between AS Eesti Ühispank and AS ESS to 

dispose shareholding in AS Sularahakeskus became effective as of 

Friday, 21.05.99. According to the contract, Ühispank sold its 25% 

holding in AS Sularahakeskus.

According to Toivo Annus, Vice-President of Eesti Ühispank, 

Ühispank’s objective on the sale of shareholding in the 

aforementioned company was to concentrate on its main fields of 

activity. 

Regardless of disposal of shareholding, Ühispank will retain its seat 

in the Supervisory Board of AS Sularahakeskus. 

The transaction has no significant influence on the bank’s financial 

results. Pursuant to the provisions of the contract, cost of the 

transaction is confidential.

The above transaction cannot be considered a transaction with related 

parties, as provided in the Rules and Regulations of the Tallinn 

Stock Exchange.
