FINANCIAL RESULTS OF LEKS KINDLUSTUS AND LEKS ELUKINDLUSTUS 04/99

 

On specified data, Leks Kindlustus collected in April 1999 insurance 

premiums in total amount of 19.4 million EEK (the respective amount 

in 15.05 announcement was 19.3 million EEK). 

During four months of 1999, Leks Kindlustus has collected insurance 

premiums for total of 68.9 million EEK, which is 8% more than during 

the respective period last year.

Leks Kindlustus paid claims in April in total amount of 8.9 million 

EEK; total amount of claims paid in four months by Leks is 40 

million EEK.

Structure of premiums collected by Leks Kindlustus in April: motor 

TPL insurance premiums 6.7 million EEK (share in portfolio 34%), 

land vehicles in corporate ownership 5.5 million EEK (share in 

portfolio 28%), corporate property insurance 1.5 million EEK (share 

in portfolio 8%) and land vehicles in private ownership 1.4 million 

EEK (share in portfolio 7%). 

Structure of claims paid by Leks Kindlustus in April: land vehicles 

in corporate ownership 3.9 million EEK and motor TPL insurance 3 

million EEK.

In April 1999, Leks Elukindlustus collected life insurance premiums 

in total amount of 1 million EEK. The insurance company paid claims 

in total amount of 110 thousand EEK.

During four months of 1999, Leks Elukindlustus has collected 4.9 

million EEK of insurance premiums, and paid claims in total amount 

of 538 thousand EEK.
