INTEREST RATES FOR VII-SERIES BONDS

 

Interest rate paid to the holders of Hüvitusfond VII-series bonds is 

7.183%, or 7.183 EEK per bond.

 

For previous period, Hüvitusfond will pay to the holders of VII-

series bonds H1 1998 approved interest rate of 7% + 1.94% for 34 

accounting days, and H2 1998 approved interest rate of 7% for 326 

accounting days.

 

Interest will be paid to the investors holding the respective bonds 

as of the end of the day of May 25, according to the data of the 

securities register of the Estonian Central Depository for 

Securities. The interest payment will be transferred to the accounts 

once a year on May 27, or the first banking day following that date.

 

The maturity date of VII-series bonds is May 27, 2002. Hüvitusfond 

will then buy back the VII-series bonds at nominal value, i.e. EEK 

100 per bond.

 

On May 27, Hüvitusfond will make interest payments to the bondholders 

in total amount of 2.873 million EEK. In 1999, Hüvitusfond has paid 

to the bondholders a total amount of interest 12.7 million EEK. 

 

The interest payments to holders of Hüvitusfond bonds are exempt from 

income tax.
