FINANCIAL STATEMENTS OF ESTONIAN MOBILE TELEPHONE COMPANY (EMT) IN Q1 

1999 

 

Estonian Telecom’s subsidiary EMT generated net profit EEK 98.7 

million in the first quarter of 1999, that is 16.4 % more than the 

respective result year ago (the statements are not audited). The net 

sales of EMT was up by 21.5 % respectively and totalled EEK 346.4 

million during the same period.

 

In the first three months of 1999, the total number of EMT 

subscribers increased remarkably and was 174 000 on April 1, 1999.

 

As of April 29, 1999 the subscriber base exceeded 180 000.
