On 21.04.1999 AS Merko Ehitus entered into a construction contract of 

expansion of the Stockmann Tallinn Department Store and parking house, 

which includes the expansion and the internal works of the building of 

the department store, and general construction works on the new parking 

house located on address Tallinn Liivalaia 53. The area of three 

additional floors to be built on the department store is approximately 

13500m2, and the area of parking house is approximately 11500m2. 

According to the agreement between the parties, the cost of this 

contract will not be published. The construction works will start 

immediately and will be finished in March 2000.
