COMMENTARY TO THE ARTICLE OF ÄRIPÄEV “NEWS TO BE EXPECTED ABOUT 

NORMA ON 15.03.99.”

 

During the last 6 months, the business activities of AS Norma have 

stabilized significantly. The volumes of supplying contracts with 

Russian automobile industry are back at the usual level. The volume 

of accounts receivable has decreased.

 

AS Norma and AO AVTOVAZ are about to conclude a supplying contract 

for car seatbelts, effective for years 1999-2ooo. 

 

The 22.03.99 Supervisory Board meeting will review the 1998 audited 

financial results of AS Norma, which will be published following 

that.

 

The aforementioned meeting will also approve the 1999 consolidated 

budget of AS Norma.

 

The Q1 1999 preliminary financial results will be published on April 

16, 1999.
