FINANCIAL RESULTS 10/98

 

Leks Kindlustus and Leks Elukindlustus, the subsidiaries of Leks Grupp, have 

collected the insurance premiums in the amount of 170.3 million EEK during the 

first 10 months of the current year, which is 25% more than during the same 

period last year. The insurance companies have paid claims during the ten months 

of this year in the amount of 93 million EEK.

 

Leks Kindlustus has collected the insurance premiums in the amount of 159.6 million 

EEK during the first 10 months of the current year, of which 15.7 million EEK

was collected in October. The claims were paid by Leks Kindlustus in October in 

the amount of 10.6 million EEK, which is two thirds more than in October 1997.

Compared with the same result 1997, the premiums collected by Leks Kindlustus 

have increased during the first 10 months of the current year by approximately 

one fourth, or 23.6%. The insurance company has paid claims in the amount of

almost 92 million EEK during the first ten months of this year.

Leks Kindlustus has collected the most insurance premiums this year in the

fields of corporate property insurance and motor TPL insurance.
