ESTONIAN TELEPHONE COMPANY INVESTMENTS FOR A YEAR 2000



Hereby we announce that the amount of the investment plan

of Estonian Telephone Company for 2000 is 728 mln kroons. 

Investments will be distributed between the following areas:



 construction of new main lines;

 telephone and Internet connections in rural areas;

 digitalisation of Tallinn and its neighbourhood, establishment

  of the base network for Internet connections;

 development of new areas and services;

 improvement of service quality, development of the access network;

 development of information technology processes;

 investments into supporting areas.
