CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE



Yesterday Swedbank informed that it has executed a call option on

Hansabank’s shares in the total amount of 2.66% of Hansabank’s common

stock, whereby Swedbank’s ownership in Hansabank increased over 50%.



1.   Full name of the shareholder: FöreningsSparbanken AB (publ);

2.   Registration number of the shareholder: 5020177753;

3.   The other party to the transaction: Alfred Berg Fondkomisson;

4.   Number of shares bought: 2,093,832, or 2.66% of Hansabank’s

   common stock;

5.   Number of shares owned by FöreningsSparbanken after the

   transaction: 41,463,454 shares, or 52.64% of Hansabank’s common stock;

6.   Time of transaction: December 28, 1999.
