ANNOUNCEMENT

 

INTEREST RATES FOR II-SERIES BONDS

 

Interest paid to the holders of Hüvitusfond II-series bonds is 7% 

or EEK 7 per bond.

 

Interest payments will be made to investors holding the respective 

bonds as of the end-day of 15.03.2000, according to the data of the 

securities register of the Estonian Central Depository for 

Securities. Interest payments are transferred to the bondholders' 

accounts once a year on March 17, or the first banking day 

following that date. Hüvitusfond will make interest payments to the 

holders of II-series bonds in total amount of 2.1 million EEK. 

Interest payments will be made to approximately 2000 bondholders.

 

The redemption date for II-series bonds is 17.03.2001. Hüvitusfond 

will then buy back the bonds at nominal value, i.e. EEK 100 per 

bond. Interest payments on Hüvitusfond bonds to private persons are 

exempt from income tax.
