ANNOUNCEMENT



INTEREST RATES FOR VI AND XII SERIES BONDS



Interest paid to the holders of VI and XII series bonds is 7%, or 

EEK 7 per bond.



Interest payments will be made to investors holding the respective 

bonds as of end-day of 22.01.2001, according to the data from the 

securities register of the Estonian Central Depository for 

Securities. Interest payments are made to investors once per year, 

on January 24, or the first banking day following that date.



Hüvitusfond will make interest payments to the holders of VI and XII 

series bonds in total amount of 4.83 million EEK. Altogether 3,500 

investors will receive interest payments.



The redemption date for VI and XII series bonds is 24.01.2002. 

Hüvitusfond will then buy back the bonds at nominal value, i.e. EEK 

100 per bond.



Interest payments from Hüvitusfond bonds to private persons are 

exempt from income tax.
