PRELIMINARY CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL RESULTS, 2000



On unaudited preliminary information the 2000 consolidated net sales 

of Merko Ehitus group amounted to EEK 1,420 mln. In Estonia 

the company had net sales of EEK 1,020 mln and outside Estonia 

of EEK 400 mln. The net sales of general construction amounted

to EEK 1,150 mln, net sales of engineer construction to EEK 190 mln, 

industrial sales to EEK 60 mln and other sales to EEK 20 mln. 

On unaudited preliminary information group 2000 gross profit totaled 

EEK 65 mln.  



The 1999 net turnover of Merko Ehitus group totaled EEK 733.7 mln and 

gross profit amounted to EEK 16.5 mln, excluding the one-off financial 

expense due to the spin-off of real estate activities. 



Merko Ehitus will announce its 2000 audited annual accounts 

to Tallinn Stock Exchange on March 20 the latest.
