UPGRADE IN LITHUANIAN SAVINGS BANK'S RATINGS



Fitch, the international rating agency, has upgraded the Short- and

Long-term ratings of Lietuvos Tauposmasis Bankas (LTB) to ‘F3’ from

'B’ and to ‘BBB-’ (BBB minus) from ‘BB’, respectively. The Support

rating has been changed to ‘3’ from ‘2T’. Fitch has also assigned a

Support rating of ‘3’ to Hansapanka (Hansa) of Estonia.

LTB’s Long-term, Short-term and Support ratings reflect the support of

its new shareholder Hansabank.
