NEW CONTRACT WITH AVTOVAZ



AS Norma signed contract with AvtoVAZ for Passive Safety System 

integration for new car family VAZ 1118,1117,1119 (Kalina).

The Safety System includes of electronic control unit,

driver and passenger airbag and frontal seatbelts with

pre-tensioners and load-limiters.

Development and testing of the safety system and its

components will take place at Norma and other Autoliv

engineering and test centres in Europe.

Planned time for system integration is 18 month. Start of

production of cars is planned September 2005.
