COMMENT ON BNS NEWS



The news published today, on 28 January 2004, "Eesti Post had net profit of

EEK 30.6m and operating income of EEK 665.3m last year" is based on the

estimation of the Ministry of Finance.



The estimation was made in connection with a draft order of the Government

of Republic on determining the amounts of dividends payable into the budget

of 2004 by state companies and companies in which the state has at least a

required interest.



Eesti Post will publish its financial results for 2003 on 27 February at the

latest and will do so via the Tallinn Stock Exchange trading system

according to the Stock Exchange rules.
