NEW COUNCIL MEMBER



The Annual General Meeting held yesterday, April 19, elected Mr Anders

Ek as a new member to the Council of Hansabank.



Anders Ek is Executive Vice-President of Swedbank as well as CEO of

the asset management and investment unit Robur.



His career history for the past 10 years is as follows:

2000 -         Swedbank Group, Executive Vice-President, CEO of Robur

1994 - 2000    SPP Mutual Insurance Company, Deputy Group CEO



Anders Ek does not own Hansabank’s shares.
