On   May   13th  2004,  Kjell  Lindström,  Communications

Director  of  TeliaSonera  NDB  Headquarters,  announced,

through the Baltic News Service, that it is the intention

of  TeliaSonera to inform all investors very clearly that

TeliaSonera  has  decided not to  accept  lower  than  85

percent  acceptance  of the offer  by  AS  Eesti  Telekom

shareholders. TeliaSonera (Baltic Tele AB) will  not  use

the right to waive the threshold condition.
