RESULTS OF A-SELVER FOR MAY 2004



The unaudited gross sales of A-Selver, 100% subsidiary of Tallinna Kaubamaja

AS, for May 2004 were 117.7 million kroons (7.5 million euros), showing an

increase of 18 per cent over the same period last year, when the sales were

99.9 million kroons (6.4 million euros).



In May the number of purchases in Selver Chain increased by 13 per cent over

the same period last year. The increase in sales was 5 per cent higher than

the increase in number of purchases, indicating an increase in average

purchase.



One of the growth drivers of the sales was the extended Selver Cuisine

opened in April. The sales of this entity amounted to 5 per cent of the

sales of the Selver Chain in May. The growth of the sales of Selver Cuisine

was 28 per cent over the last May. The main source of the growth was the

widening of the assortment of pastry; the sales of this group increased by

175 per cent.
