Fulfilling  Riga District Court decision of August 9, 2004 (coming into

effect  immediately),  prohibiting  calling  and  convening  of general

meetings  at JSC "Ditton pievadķēžu rūpnīca", the repeatedly called AGM

of August 16, 2004 was not held.



Company  Management  Board,  on own behalf and on behalf of Supervisory

Board,  announced  about  consultations  with regard to develop company

policy for the period when the court decision is in force.



The  previously announced AGM agenda items will be discussed at a joint

Management  Board  and  Supervisory  Board  meeting,  together with the

discussions on policy development, to take place by August 20, 2004.
