JSC  "Latvijas  Gāze"   has  a  received  a letter from Ruhrgas Energie

Beteilingungs  AG,  advising  that  in  December  of 2003, according to

mutual agreement, E.ON Energie AG has transferred its entire holding in

"Latvijas  Gāze" - 7,503,222 shares (including 2,914,296 non-public and

4,588,926 public) - to Ruhrgas Energie Beteilingungs AG.



As of 31.12.2003, share capital was built of 39,900,000 shares, and the

shareholder structure was as follows:
