JSC  "Valmieras  stikla  šķiedra"  gross sales in the first 7 months of

2003  amount  to LVL 11 million 634.7 thousand, which is 4.4% more than

the same period in 2002 (LVL 11 million 123 thousand) and is 60% of the

target  for 2003 (LVL 19 million 487 thousand). Net profit made in the7

months of 2003 amounts to ĻVL 805.8 thousand. 68% of sales were done in

the  EU countries. The sales level is high owing to the high quality of

the products and services and the favourable LVL/EUR rate.
